Ramallah, Palestine, Ministry of Higher Education وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الفلسطينية – Mr. Guglielmo Giordano Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Jerusalem AICS Gerusalemme along with H.E. Minister of Higher Education Prof. Mahmoud Abu Mowais has signed a Technical Agreement, to start implementing a project to promoting women empowerment in Palestine. The project will support activities in women’s participation in economic development and public life including Palestinian universities and Supporting elimination of gender-based violence. Director Giordano and Minister Abu Mowais expressed the importance to enhance cooperation, especially in terms of networking between Palestinian and Italian universities, and to enhance student and academic research exchanges.
