Ramallah, 14 November 2024 – Mirko Tricoli, Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS Jerusalem) met with Palestinian Minister of Justice Sharhabeel Al Zaeem to discuss ongoing and future projects to strengthen the Palestinian justice sector. Key representatives from the Ministry of Justice and AICS also attended the meeting.
The discussions centered around several key initiatives supported by AICS, including a project to institutionalize the Ministry’s legal clinic. This initiative will ensure that citizens—especially those in underserved areas—have greater access to justice and legal representation. Another major topic was the commemoration of International Human Rights Day, with a focus on promoting the right to education for students in Bedouin communities, particularly in the Jericho and Jordan Valley regions.
