Gaza, 19 luglio 2023 – The opening ceremony of the Italian Tower in Gaza, with the support of AICS, fulfilled the residents’ dream of returning to their homes after long suffering and loss of hope in rebuilding the tower, which was destroyed by the war in 2014. The complex consists of 17 floors with an area of about 6,000 square meters and includes 50 apartments, as well as a commercial complex consisting of shops, offices, public spaces and parking. During the ceremony, the keys to the apartments were distributed to the owners, and an inspection tour of the tower was conducted. The ceremony was attended by the Consul General of Italy in Jerusalem, the director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Jerusalem, the Minister of Women’s Affairs, the Minister of Culture, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Empowerment, and the Governors of Gaza Governorates.
