Antonio Sorbillo and Eugenio Castaldi, well-known pizzamakers from Naples, took part to a mission managed by Comune di Comacchio and Italian partners in #Palestine with the aim of meeting up some local educational institutions’ representatives and developing a draft for the second year’s activities in the framework of the project “Specialitaly – Inclusive development for touristic sector in Bet Shaour and Bethlehem”, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by a network of italian and local partners leaded by Comacchio Municipality.
A special dinner at il Forno pizzeria in Beit Sahour let Neapolitan pizza meet up its Palestinian version and allowed Palestinian vocational training’s students, their families, representatives of local and italian associations and partners to taste Marinara and Margherita pizzas according with the traditional Italian recipe.
The main event that will conclude this vocational training component in food processing will occur next Autumn in Bethlehem.
