On December 10, AICS Jerusalem joins the celebration of International Human Rights Day, renewing its commitment to supporting the Palestinian population in a complex context marked by profound challenges. Through constant work alongside local authorities, civil society organizations, and the United Nations system, the Agency continues to promote rights, justice, equity, and equal opportunities.
Within the Department of Justice, Human Rights and Gender Equality, AICS Jerusalem’s efforts focus on strengthening cooperation between institutions and civil society actors, with the goal of promoting human rights in a cross-cutting manner through capacity building, research, networking, and field interventions. The Italian System plays an essential role by contributing through training initiatives, exchanges of good practices, and high-level academic collaborations.
On this International Human Rights Day, AICS Jerusalem reaffirms its commitment to supporting dignity, equity, protection, and participation for all.
Every project, initiative, and partnership is part of a broader pathway carried out in collaboration with the other departments of the Agency, with the aim of building sustainable interventions and a more just future for the Palestinian population.
