Rome, February 20th 2020 – Last working day for the first study visit to ISTAT that Palestinian experts from PCBS – Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics and Ministry of Finance paid to Rome, in order to estimate and use a Structural Business Statistics (SBS) of entrepreneurships in Palestine, with the technical support of ISTAT and the financial support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
An intense and committing schedule of meetings, presentations, discussions, labs sessions and national accounts allowed Palestinian delegates to know in details the Italian experience related to the production of a Statistical Business Register, able to elaborate and process data from the national industry with administrative, fiscal and financial contributions.
Structural statistic elaboration will inform PCBS, according with the Italian knowledge, about a tool that allows different data sources and institutions to talk together, in order to facilitate and enhance actions for the development of the private sector.
